Dear friends:

  First of all we would like to thanks those they are already volunteering for BrasilFest, or are already committed to help on the day of the Festival.

 

We still need a few volunteers to help us on this only Brazilian community festival of the Pacific Northwest that is free and family oriented.

 

 Please contact us at your earliest convenience, and let us know how you can help BrasilFest.

          Booth Coordinator Assistant: Number of positions:  2. in this position will assist the Coordinator to sign spaces for vendors and supervises the tear-down.

Position hours: 

          9 – 11 a.m. (Set Up), -

          7:30 - 8:00 p.m. (Tear-Down) -

          “Baianas in the field”:  (Women wearing traditional costumes from Northeast of Brazil distributing BrasilFest programs and collecting donations). Number of Positions: 4. Programs, Information and Donations.

Position hours: 

          12:15 – 2:15 p.m.

          Stage Manager/Emcee: Number of Positions: 4. This position helps the artists to be on schedule, and make a short introduction of them to the audience

Position hours (Mural Amphitheater): 

          Shift 1: 11:30 am – 3:30 p.m. -

          Shift 2: 3:30 – 7:00 p.m. -

             

 

          Position hours (Center House Stage):  Number of Positions: 4

          Shift 1: 12:00 pm – 3:00 p.m.

            Shift 2: 3:00 pm – 5:00 p.m. -

          Signs: Signs directing people to diverse activities in the campus. Number of Positions: 3 minimum.

Position hours:  9- 11 am.

          Children’s Activities: Four more people to help on the table with mask making and providing material for kids drawing and color.

Position Hours: 

Shift1 - 11 am (setup table) –

Shift 2 - 11:30 am – 2:30 pm -

Shift 3 - 2:30 – 5:30 pm. -

-Workshops Coordinator:  Number of positions: 4. Help on track time of the workshops leaders helping them to be on schedule, and make a short introduction of them to the audience.

Position hours (Center House Stage) 

          Shift 1: 12:00 – 3:00 p.m. -

          Rooftop of Fisher Pavilion Coordinator: Number of Positions: 2. Coordinate the Roda de Capoeira.

Position hours:  2- 7 p.m.  –

          Volunteers Support: Number of positions: 6. Help to provide water for volunteers and stages.

Position hours: 

          Shift 1: 12 noon – 3:00 p.m. -

          Shift 2: 3:30 – 6:30 p.m. –

          Shift 3: 6-7 p.m.-

          Documentation: Number of positions: 3. Photographer/Videographer to cover the festival. We will buy the film for the camera if needed.
